Lush, green and in the heart of the bountiful Darling Downs, your thoroughbred enjoys 990 acres of improved pasture and irrigated paddocks. As Queensland’s only ‘lifelong thoroughbred care facility’ we offer all the services your racehorse needs to succeed. Mare matching and breeding is just the start of what we can offer here at Clear Mountain Fairview.

We offer care throughout their career, including agistment and racehorse spelling. Our stud boasts excellent pre-training, preparation for sale, exercise, and thoroughbred breaking in facilities to prepare your foal for a brilliant career.

Queensland’s Frappell family

Breeding racehorses, well, it’s our passion. We love it. Principal Bob Frappell is a bit of a legend in the Queensland breeding and racing industry and son Mick, our stud manager, has lived and breathed thoroughbreds from a very young age. Joined by Bob’s wife Maree, Mick’s wife Lisa (a third-generation racing participant) and a team of dedicated staff of farmhands, riders, stud grooms and agriculturalists, your thoroughbred is well cared for and adored by our entire team.
