QTIS (Queensland Thoroughbred Incentive Scheme) is internationally recognised incentive scheme designed to maximise market interest in Queensland bred horses and increase their racetrack earnings.
How it Works
Foals are eligible for QTIS with a payment by the 1st October (late fees apply until June 30th of the following year). They are then eligible for substantial bonuses when they win or are placed in specified metropolitan, provincial and country races across Queensland primarily as two and three year olds. Additional races are programmed throughout the year in country areas for QTIS qualified horses regardless of age.
QTIS is open to:-
a) The progeny of all Queensland based stallions.
b) Interstate bred foals whose dam visits a Queensland stallion in the year they are born.
Nominations close 30 September.
Late nominations close 30 June.
